A view I would like to see again! With near perfect weather, we hiked the Chilkoot Trail and stood on the summit of the mountains that separate Alaska from British Columbia. Lake Bennett BC is about a two and a half day back-pack trip ahead. Skagway AK lies about two and a half days behind us. Ahead, the trail will descend then wind along along the lakes and through the pass. Frequently, this view is hidden in clouds, rain or even snow, so this was a very special opportunity to enjoy it.
I would love to do this trip again.
